Kira Reed is an actress who is known as a sex icon who specialized in softcore movies. She was born October 13, 1971 in Santa Clara, California. Reed always knew that she wanted to be an actress and studied at the Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville, Kentucky. Later, she also studied at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She graduated from there in 1989 and went on to the UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television.
Kira Reed graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree. Two years after she finished university, she got a job posing for Playboy magazine. The movies were all soft-core and R-rated such as "The Price of Desire", "Secrets of a Chambermaid", and "Red Shoe Diaries". During this time, Kira Reed also got minor and guest roles in TV series and movies like "NYPD Blue" and "The War at Home".
