Emily Osment was born on March 10, 1992 in Los Angeles, Emily Osment was reared in a family of actors. Her father Eugene has appeared in numerous television and film productions and her older brother is Haley Joel, also an actor.
She stars as adventurous Lilly Truscott, Miley's best friend and Hannah's biggest fan, on Disney Channel original series "Hannah Montana".
Actress booked her first commercial acting job at age 5 and from there starred in numerous commercials before landing a role in the feature film "The Secret Life of Girls". Since then, she co-starred in the television movie "Sarah, Plain and Tall: Winters End" with Glenn Close and Christopher Walken. Her additional television credits include guest appearances on "Touched by an Angel", "Friends" and "Third Rock From the Sun". Girl earned the attention of movie audiences with her role as Gerti Giggles in "Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams" and "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over". Actress also lends her voice to the animated features "Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch", "Jungle Book 2", "The Hunchback of Notre Dame II" and "Edward Fuddwupper Fibbed Big" with her brother.
When not acting, she plays guitar, writes songs, reads poetry, snowboards and hangs out with friends. This girl also enjoys knitting and sewing scarves and clothes. Emily Osment lives in Los Angeles and has two golden retrievers, Tor and Nado.
