The strong and talented woman that she is, Ashley Judd has made a name for herself in her chosen field, and bloomed out of the shadows of her equally popular mom and sister Naomi and Wynonna Judd. When the acting bug bit, Ashley headed for Hollywood and there was no turning back.

Like everyone else, Ashley started out in small roles in television shows such as Star Trek: The Next Generation and Sisters. Her first film starring role was in Ruby in Paradise, which won the Sundance Film Festival's Grand Jury Prize. This was followed up with key roles in films such as Smoke by Wayne Wang, Heat by Michael Mann, and The Passion of Darkly Noon by Philip Ridley. By this time Ashley has established herself as a commercial success -- if the number of naked photo searches for her is not testament enough, there's the series of popular films that she did like Kiss the Girls and Double Jeopardy.
